We gutted our 1971 family room & kitchen and literally rebuilt the back half of our home. This was a significant remodel as it required changes in the structural support of the roof. In addition we built an amazing patio cover that extends our living space into the back yard. Shawn gave us a very detailed proposal and laid out a timeline of what to expect. There were no surprises. His team was always on time and cleaned up before stopping for the day; always respectful of our home. Most importantly, they could do it all: Flooring; Drywall; Electrical; Plumbing; HVAC; Painting; Custom Cabinets; Granite; Roofing; Hardscape... I was very impressed by how versatile they were. Even the city inspector was impressed! We now have a new kitchen, family room (with new fireplace!) and outdoor living space. Our next project will be to remodel the bathrooms. We'll be calling Shawn at Goldin Construction!
Very very impressed with Goldin Construction. As someone who is constantly in need of a contractor for clients and one who is frequently asked for referrals I have met and been disappointed with many contractors until I met Shawn Goldin. He did a rather large project for a client of mine that I had to supervise as she was out of town. #1-He does what he will do when he says he will do it. Sounds basic, but I have wasted many an hour waiting on someone to call or show up and been disappointed. #2 His estimates are accurate and obviously #3 The work is well done by his neat and polite crew.
